(C) trains used to run on grand concourse. But in the late 90's The MTA decided to switch the (B) and (C) Service. (B) trains used to run to 168 street-Washington Heights in Manhattan while the (C) runs to Bedford Park Blvd in the Bronx. After the late 90's until today the (B) and (C) Line has switched terminals. (B) trains runs to Bedford Park Bivd in The Bronx during Rush hours only but most times will terminate at 145 street in Manhattan while the (C) terminate 168 St-Washington Heights in Manhattan. But now from April 16-19 & April 23-26 (2021), (D) service was replaced by the (C) train in the Bronx from 145 street in Manhattan and Norwood 205 Street in The Bronx. (D) train will only run in Brooklyn between Atlantic Ave/Barclays Center and Coney Island. This is due to a structure repair and inspection along the Manhattan Bridge.
